Up until now it has appeared expensive for both a Husband and Wife to set up a Qrops. This is understandable as both spend their wealth on each other, and it would make perfect sense to combine the two pension pots into one. However combining pensions in a Qrops isn’t permitted.

Now, if a Husband and Wife transfer their pension into Qrops using QROPS.net, the Qrops provider will waiver one of the initial charges. This means if the Qrops provider chargers £2,000 each, totaling £4,000 for the initial setup/transfer, then now it will only cost £2000 in total. In effect halving the initial charge.
